What is human chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a regulated healthcare profession that focuses particularly on the function of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and associated impacts on health. Chiropractors are qualified healthcare professionals who can assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
Chiropractors are trained to recognise when chiropractic treatment will not help a medical condition and will make a referral to the patients General Practitioner or another healthcare professional, if necessary.

What happens on a visit?
During an initial consultation, a detailed case history will be taken, followed by a physical examination including orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations to determine a working diagnosis and suitable course of treatment.
Together, we will discuss the Report of Findings, explain our recommendations, go through any risks and possible side effects and create a personalised treatment plan to help aid you back to optimal health.
In addition, you will be given advice on how to manage your condition and prevent it from recurring. This may involve postural advice, exercises and stretches you can perform at home as well as the application of ice or heat to reduce pain and inflammation.
