About Antonia Dawes
Antonia first came across chiropractic at a young age when she was experiencing excruciating lower back pain, preventing her from horse riding.
After seeing several specialists who suggested to pause any involvement in sports, Antonia was fortunate to come across a local chiropractor who got to the root cause and quickly got her back to competing her horses internationally. From here, her interest in chiropractic grew. She began using an Equine Chiropractor to improve her horse’s way of going and went onto apply to study chiropractic at the prestigious Anglo European College of Chiropractic.
After completing a Chiropractic Masters, Antonia studied with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic and contributed to publishing a book ‘Trends in Veterinary Chiropractic’. Antonia also went on to study Western Medical Acupuncture.
Since graduating, Antonia has spent years working in several busy chiropractic clinics alongside specifically treating horse riders and horses. She has worked with many patients from office workers to international athletes and Olympians.
